UCI Now 3.6.3

UCI Now is an application designed to offer the UCI community and campus visitors a convenient solution for reserving Courtyard Study Rooms, promoting activities on Ring Mall, and navigating current events at the Student Center Buildings, Terrace Patio, Ring Mall, and the Cross-Cultural Center.

The "Wayfinder" feature offers detailed directions and visual aids to assist users in navigating the Student Center, Conference Center, The Hill, Terrace Patio, and nearby facilities. It includes information on dining options, retail shops, vending machines, ATMs, restrooms, the Information Center, and other important amenities located in the Student Center and Student Center South building.

Within the "Ring Mall" functionality, users can access a real-time list of activities along with interactive maps. This list encompasses food sales, fundraisers, exhibits, and other events taking place on Ring Mall. Filtering options by location, organization, time, and event type are available. Entries are searchable and can be customized by the hosting organization to provide additional details such as organization descriptions, event specifics, pricing details, and payment methods.

The "Center" section features a calendar of events displayed in a user-friendly list format. Users can browse and search upcoming events scheduled through SCES within a two-week timeframe. By selecting a date, the app scans through all planned events and presents a list with comprehensive details including event titles, venues, start and end times.

In the "CSL" segment of UCI Now app, individuals with a UCInetID have instant access to real-time availability of Student Center study spaces. Users can check availability, confirm reservations promptly on a first-come-first-served basis while viewing or canceling bookings conveniently. This functionality is accessible anytime with an internet connection.

The "Virtual Events" category showcases listings of online UCI events hosted on the web like opportunity drawings and other virtual activities for staying connected online. Users can log in using their UCInetID to submit their events via the "Add" button for potential feature in the event calendar and Student Center Virtual Events homepage.
